I have never caught a woodpigeon in that one of mine, nor a magpie but it's never been baited for magpies. However I did once catch a magpie in the guiniepig run where is slipped under the archway and couldn't get out. I think you'd be far better with a tunnel for magpies. I have been toying with the idea of a multipurpose trap for a while now but I don't think you'll be able to rely on just one mechanism. Quote Link to post
