Guest smashygadge
hi all im new to this site, ive been into my running dogs for last year. i used to live in a village and never bothered with lurchers as i was a staff breeder and running dogs never crossed my mind even tho freinds did it. well i moved to the city of all places and got my first dog as u will see in pik. i fell in love with lamping and ferreting, and thought what id missed when i did live out in the countryside.saying that while i lived in a town i had no problems with taking my dog onto local farms to run a few bunnys and most were happy for me to ferret and lamp. anyway i decided time had come to move back to a village. obviously the fields space and the benifit of rabbits in their hundreds on a single field. but ive been here for 3 months and found the landowners aint farmers they are posh snobs who dnt like u on their land the police have been at my door on numorous occations and said iam steriotiped as a poacer as i keep running dogs and wear combat trousers when walking.thats when iam aloud to take a walk as when i do now i get some big no it all asking and qeustioning my actions so i now find it harder in the country than i did living in the city.has anyone had any simmilar problems . anyway iam new to site and would like to say hi to all people that love their running dog. ive added my male he is rocky 1 year old beardie collie greyhound 27 to shouler Quote Link to post
