shephound 19 Posted February 16, 2008 Report Share Posted February 16, 2008 offthesod and myself went out with the pup (8months) and her mother (8 years).the rabbits were very lamp shy but we still managed to get 4 the pup caught her first rabbit and was unlucky on a few others her mother caught the other 3 one clean off the ground the others were very long slips. the pup showed some pace to catch her one the rabbit had got a huge lead.scent and slip dont worry about that battery my brother was after buying one.sorry got no pics cant find the camera Quote Link to post
shephound 19 Posted February 16, 2008 Author Report Share Posted February 16, 2008 well done great night delighted the pup got one i went digging yesterday bolted a fox from a huge earth and had no lurcher with me [/quote thats a bit of a c**t you usually have the lurchers with ya .i sliped the two dogs together and i taught bell would have caught him but the the pup just left her behind she was watching the beam of the lamp for the rest of the night she went for a squatter by herlself just missed him but ran after she caught him but she tumbled over and the rabbit got off Quote Link to post
