Rules for the Open event:

 

1 Shooter and 1 dog.

 

4 Birds - 8 cartridges.

 

1st Barrel kill = 10 points

2nd Barrel Kill = 5 points

 

Each retrieve worth 10 points within the allotted time (This will vary from

ground to ground)

 

In the event of a score tie - fastest time takes the prize.

 

In the open event no leads allowed, dog must sit free - dog not to be sent

until after the 2nd bird hits the floor. If dog runs in on either bird then

5 points deducted.

 

Novice:

 

As above, but dogs may be restrained on a lead/teather (No penalty for this)

Please find below the latest update on the BanGo Launch on the 30th March at Mouldsworth Shooting Club :arrow:

 

The Launch has been featured in April's Sporting Shooter, James Marchington (Editor of Sporting Shooter will be attending)

 

BBC Country File will be attending (sadly no John Craven)

 

We are providing a 'Gun Dog Clinic' FREE of charge where 2 full time pro-trainers will be able to give you advice / tips on the following common problems: :doh:

 

Dog running in?

 

Dog doesn't come back?

 

Not retrieving to hand?

 

Switching retrieves?

 

Sniffing the ground?

 

Ignoring you?
