terrier pup info wanted

Started to ween my border pups at three weeks by given then a blended down meal once a day.

 

All has been going well and all feeding great apart from one pup. shes not interested and just sits there either shivering while the others get stuck in or sits in the corner looking away from the pack. she is the smallest by about half size and perhaps the runt! supples mother okay but i can tell she is losing interest in feeding the pups and wants to be out hunting.

 

Any ideas?

sounds like the pups not weaned and not ready for semi solid food yet.

try the old favorite farex mixed with mostly goats milk and a little finely minced lamb might do it.

 

Beware of cows milk, most pups are lactose intolorent.

 

if the pup has made it to 3 weeks then it must be ok with the digestion etc so its just not ready for anything other than the bitches milk.
