Out this morning with a couple of the little fella's and the shotgun, I was having a good look round some permission Ive had for about 18 month but never really got round to walking properly,so I went a wandering, the dogs found at a 2 hole earth close to a old ditch,so I collared one up, and in she went,she had been to ground about 10 mins and was 40 yards away from the 2 hole earth,all of a sudden the collar packed up!!!!!!!f*ck, so thank god I had a second collar in the jeep, collared another dog up and entered her on the assumption that if she find the first I can dig them both, rather than dig the whole feckin field up lookin'

Within 2 mins she was at the spot the original collar packed up, only 2.5 ft down so within five mins I had broke through to 2 dogs belly deep in water in an old field drain and one very dead fox

Just a word of warning,be real careful about water underground especially after all the rain we've had!!!
