FERRETBOY 680
had another look out on the lamp with fern last night at the same place i took fly the other night next to the train line.still a full moon but the wind was blowing ok for me.first few fields i didnt see any bunnys but plenty of hares, but i wasnt interested with the hares as the pups are still only 10months .so across onto the other side of the train track in front of the farm house ,had a quick scan with the lamp and i spotted a rabbit sqautting so of goes the lamp as i made my way out to it with fern ready on slip. then back on with the lamp and the rabbit starts making a run for it back to the train track but fern was straight on to it ,struck sending it tumbling aswell as herself but she was quickly back on her feet and picked it up.as i made my way back home i lamped a field i had already done 20 mins before but this time i spotted the rubey eyes of the humble rabbit ,straight out to it i got within feet of this bunny with a little kick into the ground from me the rabbit twitched which fern saw. so she was slipped ,she struck but the coney managed to end up under her feet but once again this one didnt manage to get far as fern scooped it up on the run.no more runs were to be had so 2 out of 2 was very good .had both pups out a few days earlier and both had a rabbit each.just two crappy photos of the phone. good hunting rew Edited January 25, 2008 by REW Quote Link to post
