Don't use too much oil. I've found if you rev the tits off the smoker you can suffocate many rats rather than bolt them. I give the holes a good blast then step back & wait, you can even shut the smoker off. The rats always seem to bolt better this way instead of standing revving the smoker till you think there aren't any left. We stamp the holes in as we go or leave someone behind with a dog cos we used to move on then turn to see rats still slipping out the holes. Quote Link to post
