SportingShooter 0 Posted January 22, 2008 Report Share Posted January 22, 2008 hi all i am going to be applying for my sgc soon and need to know how much land do i need ? and also is there anyone on here that is round about the age of 15 or maybe someone who nows someone and would know how hard it is to get a sgc? thanks alot jason :gunsmilie: :gunsmilie: hi jason, i had my first sgc when i was fifteen and had no probz apart from wait(because of reference from my school, apparently this is not essential, if only id known!) you dont need land to acquire a sgc but rather a good reason such as clay shooting , rough shooting etc. sorry dnt no if it differs in scotland but here in wales was no probz and also they cant refuse you if you tick all the boxes eg pass checks, security adequate, good reason and countersignatory is ok so dnt worry 2 much. only thing you cant do is buy guns nd ammo.yet!! hope this helps Quote Link to post

James92 0 Posted January 23, 2008 Report Share Posted January 23, 2008 i would imagine that when getting interveiwed they will interview your brother also to find out what he thinks of u having access. i wouldnt see a problem with u having a set of keys. we have one set in the house and another at another location incase of loss. where abouts in scotland are you from?
