out yesterday

went out yesterday with del got their about 9 first set a 1 holer ferret in for ten minutes nowt so got the finder out mk1 found it about 2ft away from the hole entrance only a foot down so dug down onto the rabbit pulled it out there was another head there also but it bolted & somehow managed to get under the net so filled the hole in ferret still in waited a few more minutes then seen the hole that id filled in moving the spade was on top of it so pulled the spade back slowly to see a rabbits head so pinned it with the spade & grabbed it another n triumph for me then walked along the dyke & got a mixi 1 sittn out then moved on done a few more sets ended up having to dig 4 rabbits out altogether no very deep 1 to 2 ft so ended up with 18 for the day 4 with mixi but the weekend warriors worked well once again and wee had a cracking day only lost 3 one bolted out of a tree root when i was putting the net on one side of it but thats the way it goes

had rabbit hotpot for the tea made with the fillets made by my better half mmmmmmmmmmm had a go at gutting without cutting managed it first time was winding my mate up that it had no guts he was confused but i telt him how i did it

not a bad day except i think your turning into an anti leting them rabbits escape
