TerrierFan 0
These three breeds appear to be the primary breeds used as draw dogs. Would love to hear the pro's and con's on these three breeds. The wheaten and staff seem to be the most popular. Is that because of better at their job, or easier to find? TerrierFan 0
actually mate alot of terriermen use bull crossed or wheaten cross luchers for drawing now. Thanks Sam! Had a friend that used to cross staffies with his whippets. I know what you mean. Quote Link to post
TerrierFan 0
Iv had all three breeds that you mentioned and all worked there bollox off except it was a pbt i had for drawing she tended to push the game back up into the pocket and fight teeth to teeth wit it and mostly killed while at it but when she used lock it was handy she used go in lock on and you pull her by the back legs! then the wheatan which we had years ago used go in and draw out no messing or nor a whimper just the business then the glen was alot likt the glen used draw like the whetan but you used have to pull the two of them out by the back legs cant beat a lurcher because they have the legs too go in and draw out!!! Thank you Terrier Man, thats what I was looking for. Quote Link to post
