Guest diesel
there harder to catch witrh out a motor to nock them back in the field ey...... nice pics anyway. Quote Link to post
lucky 578
with the motor it does'nt matter how lamp shy they are, or how many times they have been squeeked in and missed, 90% of the time your gonna get a run, and although the motors used to get the dog as near as possible to the fox before he's released the dog still has to make up the ground that the fox has covered while the car is slowed right down or even stopped, and he still has to catch the fox and kill it. the running side of it may be slightly easier for them but these dogs get properly tested as there gonna get a lot more runs and a lot more foxes (besides other quarry), usually one after the other, i've seen plenty of so called fox dogs give in this way simply because they've never met as much quarry in just a few hours lamping Quote Link to post
Gareth12 225
How exactly does theis lamping of the back of a vehicle work? Only lamping ive ever done has been on foot walking up to any game,. Do you get a higher success rate lamping off the back of a van, judging by the pics you post you always seem to get plenty of game in the bag Quote Link to post
Kane 2
there harder to catch witrh out a motor to nock them back in the field ey...... nice pics anyway. Â <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Your only jealous cause your not old enough to drive. Nice pics lucky things have started to pick up with the foxes now good sized adults coming to the call a much better test than cubs.I personaly prefer to be on foot you can concentraste on the dogs doing what comes natural without having to keep one eye on where your front tyres are.
