with all the member you would think there would be a few more awilling to take him on a dig . Im in the same boat as the bolt fed up of waiting around for people so i got out and found some earths and found the first one at home today dont know if i should try to dig it as its on a steep bank and i dont know how deep it runs . But i know one thing it hell of a buzz when your two terrier are screaming and pulling to get in the mixer . all the best lads

Would there be enough interested Terrier men in the UK and surrounds that would be interested in doing problem animal hunts in South Africa. It would mean coming with your own Terriers and hunting almost every day for maybe 10 - 14 days.Costs would include accomodation, meals, all transport, hunting permits and all the Jackal you can dig?

If there is enough response I can put a package togethur.

Is there not a quarantine on animals in and out of there .That would bugger up any visit surely .

Also,im told that is not just jackals that inhabit those holes :whistling:

Howzit ,

Provided one complies with the importation requirements there is no quarantine from Europe - Mozambique is different as you can image. There is a quarantine on animals that do not have a complete innoculation history especially regarding Rabies.

Recently Dept.Agriculture has made compulsary all imported pets must also be microchipped.

There are a number of characters that inhabit the holes including honey badger, but generally we drive the Jackal with hounds until he goes to ground - the jackal normally doesn't choose an occupied hole.
