Now I have never tried that but I would imagine there would be problems. Snaring relies on the rabbit moving at some speed inorder to hit the noose at the right height and pull it closed. Rabbits are quite timid when leaving the burrow in normal circumstances and have a good look round so are more likely to spot something is up.

I am not rulling it out - just not within my scope of experience. If you need to trap them as the leave the burrow you would be better off with a few MKVI fenns.

I have in the past caught rabbits like that............but would much sooner use Mk6 Fenns. Imbras, or Juby's.

No.....snares want setting on the rabbit runs ONLY for the best results. That said, where rabbits pass under or through hedges and fence-lines these too can be profitable catching places.

Wouldn't ye do better waiting till they're away from those burys and picking them off with the Sako LR?

Or, if ye want a Faster way; The HMR! (Sorry; Couldn't resist that bit! ;))
