nath95 4 Posted February 17, 2019 Report Share Posted February 17, 2019 new member so.. hello! i'm getting a male harris hawk next week, he's 1 years old and has been trained the basics, although i've never had one before so was looking for some pointers and tips, i'm having a mews and aviary built prior to him arriving, and i've got a chest freezer set up with some fresh frozen meat. the bird comes with all the basics so there isn't much i'll actually need, i went out with the bird last week and he seemed to have taken to me pretty well, came to the glove and didn't show any signs of being nervous or anything but again i've never had one before. anyway, if anyone could give me any advice on housing and general manning that'd be great, thanks!
