jaykay 2
Just a quick question, I know plummers dont get great publicity but whats the chances of a working pup when its crossed with a lakeland. One of my friends just got one but its new ground for us? Any chance of a hard dog from the cross? Quote Link to post

Better to just buy a well bred Lakey or Russell pup than risk a couple of years training & entering on a chance bred pup. Quote Link to post
phil wright 2
for some reason the plummer/nuttall cross often makes for very good all round terriers. whilst i kept plummer types for several years i will not put my personal views about todays plummers on here as there is no point. whilst ive bred and worked 1st crosses ive found the 3/4 to take some beating at the rat/rabbit job and they can certainly hunt.i think such a cross is a plummer type, the plummer fans think its a mongrel.i dont care either way,i know what i want.
