Guest Ditch_Shitter
I bought this bike, brand spanking new, just before coming over here. Rode it for a year here. Now my health's so f*cked it'd kill me to try to ride a push bike ~ or a bloody woman, come to that! So it's been sat out in the cow shed this past year. Not 'rusting away', 'mind. It's completely made of alloy and couldn't rust at the bottom of the ocean. Chain might, I suppose? But I washed and re oiled that every few weeks I used it. Yeppers; I f*cking worshipped this bike! Never been used off tarmack. Never been abused. Visually and mechanically good as gold - with the exception of one side of the saddle, which the poxy donkey got at and bit a chunk out of! So figure a fresh saddle into the price. If anyone's seriously interested, they'll check it out on Google, obviously. But it was a £500 bike at the time. Entry level Professional ride. Front (oil) suspension. Disc Breaks. 20+ Gears. Wheels to die for. Stunningly light. Matt black throughout - yeppers; Dead sexy! Ye get the picture. Youngsters used to watch me go by with bulging eyes and gaping mouths; " What's that old c*** doing on THAT?! ". Fair question. The 'Old C***' was enjoying a last fling. And, by god, I enjoyed it too! So I figured this is about the time of year someone might want to spoil someone they know ~ even themselves ~ and give this gorgeous and wonderful bike a new lease of life. She just doesn't fit in, leaning against the wall down in that bier. Anyone? Marin 'Bobcat Trail'. Co. Leitrim, Eire.
