Minkenry 1,044
Hello everyone! I had a REALLY exciting hunt last weekend! There are times when hunting with a mink that all of the action happens underground or in thick brush, so you don't get to see much of anything. There are other times like this video when you get to see quite the spectacular scene!!! I also got pretty busy and forgot to share this video from a couple weeks ago. This video shows my mink Rio and pointer lurcher Onsa doing a bit of ratting in a chicken coop..... https://youtu.be/OUGa3Jl0SwY Quote Link to post
Mitchell82 2
Minks are awsome total apex predators! And their physique is fantastic I could watch videos about them all day. Me and my brother caught a kit close to death on the banks of the river Humber when we was kids we took it home and fed it on chicken for about four or five days but it really didn't appreciate what we had done for it once it had regained its strength growing more and more unpredictable untill we boxed it up and put it back where we found it..... Wich unbeknown to me at the time I think is offence, releaseing one into the wild? Id love to own one but thats full of red tape in the uk Quote Link to post

They can be VERY tame and placid when very weak, but their fire comes back as soon as they regain their strength. If you know how to handle them they can become surprisingly tame, but it takes A LOT of work! https://youtu.be/J6BC_aDByPw Quote Link to post
