Guest Lord B Posted December 14, 2007 Report Share Posted December 14, 2007 In the first of what I hope will be the only (lets hope it actually doesn't come off) instance of this, Exmoor National Park Authority is currently drawing up draft guidlines for shooting and shooting sports on its land. The big concern is that the implementation of such guidlines will prove the starting point in a national range of guidlines restricting (officialy) the way in which shooting and shoot management is carried out. Not to mention the increased red tape and paperwork that goes along with shooting, from vat records to health and safety. The plan I believe is for this to be implemented by 2012 (only 4 seasons away) Does anyone on here shoot or run a shoot business in the park? I know Pixton Park is covered by the area. I would be intersted to hear if you have been or are being consulted, what process the proposals are taking and are you being listened to? Quote Link to post Share on other sites
