Richard Collett 102
Hello all, A few months ago I was bored and wanted a project, so I went on eBay and brought myself a random rifle stock, turns out after some research the stock was from a BSA century rifle...I got a bit nostalgic when I did some research to find that this rifle was only produced from 1955 - 1961. So I have a stock potentially 50yrs plus. My original plan was to use this stock to practice stock engraving, but now I'm in two minds, do I try and restore it hoping that one day I can sell it to someone who has the action or was this rifle that pants that there's a good chance it would not interest anyone and is perfect for me to practice and mess up engraving on? Btw I payed £25 What would you do? My woodworking skills are limited so either way if I play about with it I'm learning on the project. Richard Quote Link to post
