got out this morning bright & early, f**k me was it cold  ... decided to visit the set i worked last weekend to see if i could pick the last remaining. last time i placed purse nets on around 20 or so holes which took abit of time with all the crap in the way so i decided this time the long net was coming out. the set is roughly 45yds long so i chucked a 100yrd round it. loaded my shotty & sat back to get some bolters.

after waiting about 15 minutes i had the first bolter which shot out & straight back down another hole :wallbash: it was too quick to get an aim on him, another 10 minutes past & the second bolter... the same thing, out of one hole & straight into the one right next to it.... i knew i should of taken the time to lay the nets again...

after waiting another 30 minutes or so i got the locator out & picked my ferrets up running over the place at depths of 6 to 8 ft, but didnt stay still.

after abit of time i located one of my ferrets at 1ft... lovely my first dig, took all of 30 seconds to get to it. pulled the bunny out with my hob attached to his neck, seperated him & put my ferret back in the box & started to search for the other. the jill didnt stay still for over an hour & i heard the occassional rabbit screaming from under... a while later she appeared with fur under her claws & blood around her gob. ive only had her out a few times & shes doing well. she kills then moves on, just what i want.

im glad that the set is cleared but it would of been nice to get a few more out... back out again tomorrow to do a fresh set, so should be able to bring a few back home.

a few shots from today..
