Tx200 Vs Hw97

As you now know i opted for the silky smooth TX 200 HC.

Much better blueing than the others, much better stock and smooth as silk out of the box, no tuning needed.

Have to Agree with Mark here  .

I've owned the same Tx for about 13 years now and its rock solid. Built like a tank, excellent quality, highly accurate, lovely trigger, Absolute top rifle. Mine's in need of a service now as its a bit twangy and I suspect below 11ft-lbs now, ....but 40% use over 13 years is some going....still firing 'OK'....but needs some TLC when the pennies allow....

What MK is it?

Bring it to the AA meet weekend at Nuneaton 1st weekend in August and I'll put a new spring and seal in it for you. All original parts from Bond Guns, Julian will have a vanload of spares there!

Thanks really kind of you Timmy, you are a true gentleman. However, doubt I'll make that meeting - though you're a top bloke for the offer :thumbs:

Other than replacing parts, does anyone know if there is a great deal you can fettle on a Tx? One springer tuner I have spoken to says there is very little to do and just leave it as it is. Just service and lube it and they are always good to go.....
