logan esq 99
Hi gents. I know this isn't exactly just about air rifles, but I know some of the lads on here and prefer there advice. Right here it goes. I'm looking for a new permission as mine has dried up, I've been knocking on doors sending letters out and the like. But my question is... what does everyone else start the conversation with?? I'm not a shy lad, but I'm not to sure how to go about it. Don't want to just ask out right. "Hey Mr farmer, can I come shoot on your land"(this is not what I'd say, it was meant light heartedly) Just not sure what ice breaker I should use. Any advice welcome. ATB Quote Link to post
Lloyd57 98
You could ask him if he needed any vermin control, and ask him if he would consider giving you a trial. Lloyd 1 Quote Link to post
SimonC_Here 36
"Excuse me, do you know who own that field?" "Me Why?" "Well I saw some bunnies/crows/pigeons/rats on there and was wondering if you had any problem with them?" Blah blah blah. Quote Link to post
