Hello fella's new to the forum, finding my way around it nicely , can't believe there is so many of my hobbies under one roof!

Got back into Catty shooting and i love my flat bands, for me they shoot very fast and i prefer them to tubes but i have never shot a double flat band and i am thinking of getting one to try out.

Im shooting out to 25 yards at the moment and i am pretty accurate within 3 inches but im thinking at distances like this a double band will be better

does anyone use doubles?

bit of advice would be good.

im using aniseed balls and M10 nuts

Double 20mm Theraband should chuck the nuts. M10 are pretty big though. You not need doubles for Aniseed balls though, at any distance lol.

i thought my theory was right then, yeah they seem to drop a lot with singles, im still pretty accurate with them but i was thinking double would get them out there better, how about 20-15 tapered ? seen some on ebay, £4

I'd prefer to use something stronger myself. M10 are big as catty ammo goes. Could give em a try though. If you made your own bands it would be much cheaper. Could have a metre of Theraband for about £7 and you can get some leather or pouches at a decent price. You'll get 5 or six sets from a metre. Even cheaper if you buy longer lengths. Just something to think about.
