no LL i don't have it,it was a long while ago,as for the size of the pockets,well it seemed to be one of those great coats(i think that's what they were called) 3/4 length jobbie so with big pockets i don't see why they wouldn't fit.

on a side note queen victorias ratcatcher was paid more than her poet laurete Lord Tennyson.

Poachers coats? The jobbies where you can fit a shotty inside the coat, My grandad had one of these coats !!!

don't know LL,big coat anyhows,i'm sure if you needed a large pocket one could be fashioned.

wether they were any use or not who knows,perhaps he craved the attention they would bring.

 

his name may have been Gaunt or maybe Black,can't remember now.
