Tozer 385
The Mrs has accepted the terrier and the lurcher, and has always been used to me shooting. But put her foot down and wouldn't let me get ferrets I have just put the word about and now have the use of three working hobs and a locator, the owner hasn't got time but I can use them as and when I was given a bag full of purse nets last year. I went out for a mooch with the air rifle and the dogs and took note of the holes. Inside a disused pheasant pen found 3 or 4 well used holes the dogs marked. Doesn't look like they have exits outside of the pen. Self contained rabbits and ideal for training the dogs, not expecting more than 5 or so, but should be an a learning curve. Last time I went I was 6 just before my dads ferrets were nicked and he never replaced them. Quite looking forward to this Edited December 20, 2014 by Tozer 2 Quote Link to post

Tozer 385
No, definitely not, it is a smalish young wood, and the pen hasn't been used for 3 years. There are a lot of scattered holes throughout. I shoot it a lot with the air rifle for the last 10+ years, there are several more to go at if this doesn't work. But they seem an idea starting point. Look to be shallow too. I've got a lot of digging kit from ratting so that isn't a problem. 1 Quote Link to post
