scouse moocher 0
IMO [bANNED TEXT] she is WAY too young  ... at the end of the day shes a lurcher so the instinct will be there but her first year of life should be spent teaching her the basics ... retrieving, jumping, sit , down, stay and recall etc ... People start their pooches at diffrent ages some as young as 6/7/8 months and thats their preferance. I just thing that if shes catching quarry this young and playing about with it she might develop a habbit of ''playing'' with her catch, and this habbit cant be a pain in the arse to kick out of her, and there nothing more frustrating than ur dog chasing, catching and then playing with her catch. Just my oppinion Ant Quote Link to post
spartacus 22
I know [bANNED TEXT] you mean mate, it wasnt a planned thing she just killed it out walking. I dont really want to stop her though incase it puts her off for [bANNED TEXT] she is old enough and i dont wana keep her on a lead until shes 6 month old.[bANNED TEXT] would you do Quote Link to post

Kane 2
LOL,Spartacus you just keep at it [bANNED TEXT] give that pup as much experiance as it can manage, its a pup and you shouldnt push it to hard but experiances like the myxy rabbit wont do a pup with a bit of spirit any harm, lurcher pups that are kept on leads and not allowed to explore new sites and sounds IMHO are the ones more likely to fail, take care but let the dog develop into what it is ,hopefully a killer.Basic training is essential but to much is IMHO as lethal as pushing the youngster to hard everything in moderation.
