Clancy 1
Hello all, My patterdale pup is 18 weeks old. He currently weighs 9.5 lbs. Has anyone come up with a rule of thumb, ie your dog will hit maximum height between _ and _ months and weight between _ and _ months? I know to look to his sire and dam but that isn't a sure bet. I'd be thankful for any wisdom you could impart. Clancy Edited October 9, 2007 by Clancy Quote Link to post
cúagusgiorraí 57
I am no expert but usually a dog will reach a height around six months and slowly add another inch over next the year. It will probably be around the same height of the parents, males are usually slightly taller. Quote Link to post

When a pup's canine teeth top and bottom have all come in and grown to full length, your pup is full height for the breed or cross or what ever, any growth from now is generally outwards, width, weight and muscle Cheers Quote Link to post
