Bsa Ultra Se Magazine

Recommended Posts

Hi, I recently bought a used .22 SE and have probably put 200 pellets through it. I have noticed that when I get to loading the 9th pellet that the bolt often jams and I have to wiggle the magazine or manually rotate the "pellet wheel" while pushing the bolt to get the pellet in. On examining the magazine yesterday I observed that the spring that rotates the "pellet wheel" seems very week in its unloaded state and I am wondering whether this is not fully lining up the action on the last couple of pellets. I have tried to search the web but haven't found anything yet, but I'm sure someone on here will have an idea. If I strip the mag down to clean and live it, should I attempt to make the spring more positive? Cheers San

I wouldn't bother sending it back to bsa pal. My scorpion was the same (I'm sure it's the same mag)

I just took the magazine apart, it's only one screw, and just wind the spring another turn and put it back together. You'll see what I mean when you open it up. It's easy enough and mines always been fine since!
