Gaj1612 99
I myself bought a jimny end of last year, was driving a 1.4 astra before but mrs kept moaning about it getting covered in mud so decided to get another happened to be the jimny. And what can I say....mint !! Never done off roading but my mates do and I took it out, pissed through everything ! And we were going down some right boggy lanes up rock faces the lot, I also use it for getting about the city and I think it's sound on fuel. Unless your on motorway, over 60-70 mph and it burns fuel like nobody's business but I don't do motorway miles so to me....it's the perfect motor, wouldn't even swap it for a defender. I took the seats out and laid some mdf down with some carpet on top for the dogs. I couldn't recommend anymore highly mate Looks tidy that mate I don't do motorway miles very often either. Just out of interest what sort of mpg are you getting from it? I'm holding back at the moment until my misses learns to drive then she can have my astra and I'll probably get a jimny and take the seats out like you have done. I did consider getting a freelander, my Bamp bought one and he's not getting on with it and offered it too me but not sure I want it either after reading about all the problems they're plagued with.
