Galgo Espanol Vs Magyar Agar

Hi,

 

I am interested in some sort of comparison between these two breeds, which I was not able to find while researching online.

 

Which is typically faster? Which has greater stamina? And how would they compare to a Saluki in both of these aspects? A friend of mine used to have a small Saluki, and its stamina was quite impressive.

 

Finally, do they both make good pets to have around other dogs?

Saw a dvd of galgos one run lasted nearly 5 mins looked fast to if u utube galgos u shud see some runs a friend of mine frm england slips the dogs at a meeting in spain every november he tells me their very good dogs serious wind some have and they can take a knock they course over rocky land and through orchards n vineyards atvb

seen a good few agars in hungary last year and from looking at them they look nice animals!!! never got chance to see one run as it was summer but there character seemed very collie cross'ish but built like a 3/4 grey 1/4 bull. i seen one sandy colour bitch that had scars all over her that showed she had seen alot of work and her feet were near perfect for a running dog! id of took some photos but she was owned by a group of romainian gypsys and they would of had my camera away id love to get a pup over here as i think they are handy dogs and seeing the ground they run them on you could have some fun with them here. would love to hear more myself tho as cant really say much after seeing a few in kennels lol
