British Native Birds, Mule and Hybrid Club.
Annual Show, Nantwich 25th & 26th January 2014.

The 8th annual BNB&MC is due to take place at Nantwich on the 25th& 26th January 2014 where some 600 birds will be exhibited. This year will feature some of the fancy’s top breeders donating birds to be raffled or auctioned.
The club was formed in 2007 by birdmen determined to maintain the integrity of exhibiting genuine native British birds and their hybrids. However the growing popularity of the larger Northern strains of our native birds cannot be ignored and with this in mind are fully recognised by the club with separate classes and specials provided.
The show will be held in the grand surroundings of The Nantwich Civic Hall, located in the centre of town with ample parking next to the venue. Two day shows are a rarity these days so why not take the opportunity to enjoy the birds and catch up with old friends in a leisurely fashion?
Five well respected judges have been engaged with Mark Jones and Franny Brankin hardbills, Tony Buckley mules and hybrids. Bob Hastie will be judging the ever growing and varied entry of British softbills, well worth the entrance fee alone.
As many British bird breeders also keep Norwich canaries, the show has a Norwich section with Margaret Moore placing the awards. Along with £100 for best Norwich canary, patronage has been granted from the four main Norwich specialist clubs, The Norwich Plainhead Club, Scottish, Midland and Southern Norwich clubs.

Excellent canteen facilities will be available for the duration of the show; also a number of stalls selling bird supplies and equipment etc will be present including bird artist Eric Peake.
Schedules, available from Secretary Peter Jackson on 01698 889108.
