Guest world.hunters
Took Storm out for a walk with rew, rew and his pups on thursday storm and fly ran down a hedge row where there were a few bunnies running into the cover as they got close storm launched himself into the cover and pulled out a nice rabbit, then Me, Rew and his dad set out at just after 10 last night for a look out i took storm along for a run and more training. the weather forcast look hopeful but as we arrived it had desided to become a very still night with no wind at all although it was still very dark and the ground was nice and soft so we went on, first run we had bramble picked it up with ease and we moved on, then i lamped a rabbit and wasnt going to run it as i though it was already heading for cover but then it turned going across so i slipped storm, he ran straight for it turned it towards us and then again away into some cover at that point i thought it had escaped but he managed to flush it out and was on it again, it then ran out of the beam so i ran over the bank to get a view and he had turned it again then caught it as it got to some further cover, i was very very please with how he perfomed and he did do very well, after that i decided not to give him another run and just end it on a high although he was still very eager when watching bramble running the next 2, 1st one was a nice run she ran it up and down the edge of the cover but it was a strong rabbit and made its escape but she wasnt letting the next one go. she ran it from a fair distance and with immediate presure she managed to tuned it once and then made a brilliant pick up as she was turning it the second time. we ended the night with 3 bunnies in the bag and arrived hope at around 5am i was on a high with storms first proper course and catch. heres a few pics and a short video clip although on the computer and internet the footage is not very good quality His Daytime bunny (by the time we was hope it was dark) Lamped and iv now made a attachment for my lamp to hold my camera Video W.H Edited September 15, 2007 by world.hunters Quote Link to post
