Guest SJM
Bloody hell I aint spending £600 on software it was bad enough buying the camcorder and the spare battery What I am looking for is something I can use to line up lots of short clips, add titles and possibly music, and make a 45-60 min dvd with it burning it straight to disc, ideally just one program that does it all, if that exists? . I like the format of WMM and am used to using it, but if anyone can reccommend a program that has similar features and doesnt cost £600 then I am all ears! Is Nerovision Express any good? I have got the Nero encoder installed and it lets me take the WMM file and burn it onto a disc but then it wont play when I put it in the fecking drive, it has to be opened using windows media player, or real player. As youse can probably tell by now I am not very good with this sort of stuff, and just want something simple, straightforward and cheap that gets the job done, an idiots guide sort of thing Quote Link to post
Guest The Big Fish
Yep wmm outputs .wmv which in english is: windows media video This type file is realy designed for the web and aint no good in a dvd player. There are some other editing programs out there, but i suspect that they are all expensive. Unless of course you know someone that knows someone If i was you, i would persevere with trying to convert your footage from mpeg to avi, it will pay off in the long run. Find someone that knows someone that you can get the decent software off of. Takes a bit of learning, but in the long run it will be worth it Get yourself onto some video editing forums, that will help too, you will be suprised what tips you can pick up. P.s the net making video that i made with rabbiteer, took approx 9 hours to render out from adobe premier and that was after all the editing was done! So its a long old process.... Quote Link to post
moseley 16
What is your favorite running dog DVD and how much did you pay for it? I am talking about originals that you have bought, not copied ones off mates or off Ebay etc Just testing the water really as I am hoping to bring out a rabbiting dvd later this season, daytime work, hunting up etc. Might even be able to transfer some old, old footage of hare coursing before the ban and make a dvd of that as well, whats the going rate for a rabbiting or hare coursing dvd these days? Whats an acceptable price to charge that people are willing to pay? and how much would you think is taking the piss? I remember when videos were all the rage and there were always vids advertised in the mags for £20 - 30 a pop, this seems a bit excessive these days when dvds are so easy to produce, so what kind of price do people normally charge for their time/effort of making one? All replies appreciated hi mate do ya you no any sights where i can buy or download videos thanks mose Quote Link to post
