Josh Meeks 0
Hi guys! This is my first post here. So I've been having a bit of a rat problem around the house, and I 've made up my mind I'm going to deal with it only with handmade traps (just to get my trap-making skills down pat). It rains a lot here, and the grass is cut regularly, so its hard to find any runs, however there are a lot of rat holes about the place. I've tried setting plain snares, trip up snares and just today I set a squirrel pole, but I am yet to have any luck. I've looked at a few of the snares here on the forum, but in your opinion what would be one that is effective yet hard to mess up with? Thanks in advance! Quote Link to post
bobcullen79 1,495
Look up a figure 4 deadfall trap. Or a bucket? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Vdlg48c78HQ Quote Link to post
