To be beginners bird however I disagree Harris r very smart bird and hunted good can help fill your vest quickly My Harris was my first hawk and I learnt my trade Thanks to a great man who was kind enought to metor me and show me the ropes my metor told me when I use help him fly he's gos an falcons "always rember hawk come first even in rain and snow the hawk needs to be out and active " I use to think he was just making sure I be good falconer when he said that until I got my Harris that hawk know every second what it job was and when I got dog to help flush game he did not once try attack it or ferrets So my words to those who which like to start falconry Always rember the hawk comes first !!!
