Guest MOLLY
Does anyone know if the liquid killer has been banned, as i cannot find it anywhere in the shops. I need something to spray onto a plant to kill slugs etc. Its a climbing plant and the slugs are coming out of the house wall so pellets are of no use. MOLL.
Guest Ditch_Shitter
Moll; Forget the chemicals. As Any 'Pester' on this site or else where will tell ye, there's a sure fire (Ecologically friendly) way of dealing with molluscs. Dead simple: Get yeself a couple of any Rat Bait Station and load it up with a few blocks of cereal/wax based, non toxic monitering baits. Stuff with actual poison in works too ~ the more expensive the better Just set these boxes against ye walls, just as if ye going after rats. I guarantee ye, within a couple of weeks, pop that sukka open. Have ye Opinel to hand and ye'll spend some quality time 'Slug Popping'! F*cking b*stards are drawn inexorably to Bait Boxes! Droves of them! There they slither over, munch on and ruin the very best of baits. Put the rats off. Cost us pro's money. I swear to god; A Rat Bait Station is the finest damn mollusc trap ever invented. Only yesterday I did the rounds of my own here and wiped out dozens of 'Leopard Slugs'. God, I Hate slugs!
