Interesting post The keepers up here have been spending a lot of time cutting and poisoning it, I think maybe they should take a leaf out of your book as that sounds the way to go. I know when I had to get it out of the field I rented for the horses, I cut it all back and the following year the b*****d stuff was back with a vengeance

for the wasps nest i would get hold of a couple of litres of formaldehyd and put it in a knap sack sprayer and spray the nest till it is mush, i would reckon this would also work for the bracken but for gods sake dont let animals near it for a while and wear goggles and a mask, this stuff kills everything
