HMR17 0 Posted May 26, 2013 Report Share Posted May 26, 2013 Feel a bit silly asking this question ,but here goes, .I've just bought an HMR17 ,was zeroing it in last night ,afterwards i went to clean it and i couldn't figure out how to remove the bolt .Also ..what do you guys use to clean inside the barrel ?. SportingShooter 0 Posted May 26, 2013 Report Share Posted May 26, 2013 On the T-Bolt you open the bolt a centimeter or so, then you depress the small silver button at the rear of the bolt housing. Once depressed, the bolt will slide out. I use a cleaning rod and patches, followed by a brush. Quote Link to post

By the time i put a nice scope ,bipod, light and sling ,moderator ,it now feels a bit more weighty ,the thing is insanely accurate . Just tried using the boresnake and it broke ,i now have a deep cut on my pinky Quote Link to post
