m.r1 7
Here are some pics of my russells, and taildocking been banned for over 15 years here. Sad to say that only 2 of them go to ground. Why havent they been shot? No morals, if they were mine I could ay all of them go to ground, buried! Quote Link to post
pawtracks 0
Hehehehe, a hardboiled attitude. Good for these dogs it aint for you to deside. Most of the russells here in sweden are sold as pets, only 5-10 % of the russells work. I would think its the same in UK. Quote Link to post
Guest curtislj
Aahh..ok..i know the Ratpack dogs..nice looking dogs. Its still funny to see PRTs with a tail..the ban here has not long been in effect. All mine just keep chewing them off Quote Link to post

m.r1 7
yes it is legal, here they mostly work on fox and badgers. Also common on roe deer, and some even on elk, boar and bear. But out of the 300 Parson bor in a year I think no more than 10 % goes to working homes. We have a couple of kennels that breed for work only. quite succesfull I must say. This is a link to one of them. http://www.parsonrussell.se/ Viewed your web, good to see any breed of terier still be worked, you are very lucky being able to test your terriers on badger, the ultimate test. I note only 1 terrier in the photo, hopefuly your quarry was dug with 1 terrier, if so you have more principles than most so called terrier men over here. Wahts the ground like for digging? What other breed are used? Where does your blood or the blood of other breeds originate from? Carry on, enjoy it while you can Quote Link to post
