PeterHenry 1
Hi, I was wondering if anyone can help me with this.... I have two english SxS's - one with sleeved barrels and the other with original. On both of them the ribs look like there slightly unaligned - they don't match up with the engravings on the lock end of the gun - and from the business end they also look slightly lop-sided. I only noticed it a couple of days ago and it obviously doesn't seem to have any effect when I shoot them - I'm just curious as to if its normal on old SxS's....... Cheers Peter Quote Link to post
cyclonebri1 8
I was in 1 of my local dealers the other day looking for a rough and ready O/U gun, £250/£350 mark. The 1st I picked up had a distinct curve to the rib, made me start looking at that aspect of them all. Out of 6 guns I handled 3 had less than perfectly soldered on ribs, it wasn't after damage. So basically it isn't linited to SxS's Quote Link to post
