the guy say at around 1600fps?? if thats a .22 cal using a average heavy pellet ie bisly magnum that gives that rifle a power of 113flbs...thats some power from a spring powered rifle

Now, don´t quote me on this but from what I know about the high power air guns, the big bore and the 22 and 25 people that use them do not use pellets as they deform at those pressures. What they use is either muzzle loader ammo or sabotted rounds.

the speed of 1600fps would rip the skirt of a 20gr pellet ,and to be honist i cant see a spring powered air rifle fireing a 40gr .22 bullet head at 1600fps(when the average subsonic 22 rimy produces around 950fps,aprox 80flb)

 

i would have to see it in front of me to belive it.
