ghengis 4
Hi all i have a good farmer friend who has always had collies, but a few years ago got his first kelpie, now he swears by them and would never go back as he says they are a different animal to work with and they are hardier in his opinion. what are your views on the working kelpie ?? Also i know a few of you have kelpie crosses/or you have had them. tomo being 1 i can remember off top of my head. What is your opinion on this cross ? is a first cross better or do you need to dilute the mix more ? 3/4 greyhound x 1/4 kelpie Look forward to your suggestions, pictures etc Quote Link to post
Guest Leveller
Mine is purely a little rabbiting bitch (I think she's about 20") and she excells at the job I can't say much more than that without sounding big headed or putting a curse on her, she's young and green but she takes everything in her stride is a pleasure to train and learns very quickly. She loves work and is happy out ferreting, lamping, bushing with the terriers or hunting up. She really is everything that a rabbiting dog should be 1 Quote Link to post
