DIGZY 4 Posted June 24, 2007 Report Share Posted June 24, 2007 has anybody ever worked a german shepherd x grayhound and what was it like for all round hunting what was it like to train they are ment to be very brainy dogs. if mated to a grayhound do there hips still go at a old age german shepherds are bad for that . Royston2 0 Posted June 25, 2007 Report Share Posted June 25, 2007 i worked with a second gen i owned it for a while very keen as a youngster hunting ability very good extremely good gurad dog but to noisey for my liking i dont do noise from a lurcher....The dog never opened up on quarry just generally too noisey round kennel and that...He was game untill he got bit he would never spew just get noisier and noisier as the bite got harder other than that he was a good dog just purely that noise thing...I took hare rabbit roe and fox with him before he was 2 1/2 Quote Link to post
