lurche 48 Posted October 8, 2012 Report Share Posted October 8, 2012 do ferrets usually stop drinking water in the winter ? they are raw fed and supped like mad through the summer but have noticed over last couple of weeks they dont seem to be drinking anything,i thought they were drinking out of a large dish thats available but after having them in a different hutch for a few days notice the bottle hasnt gone down this is my first season keeping ferrets so dont know if this is normal or not atb Quote Link to post
seany 54 Posted October 8, 2012 Report Share Posted October 8, 2012 Hi lurche, the weaters finally cooling down now so they won't drink as much. Also being flesh fed they also gain alot more moisture from meat than dry food. ATB Seany Quote Link to post
