Marlin Goose Gun

Just taken posession of a Marlin goose gun, 36 inch barrel, 3 shot, bolt action detachable clip, given to me by a farmer who's land i shoot over. Its in mint condition. Its like looking over the fourth bridge

 

Any coments anyone used one before dont flap ive got the variation its on my FAC

i have used one of the marlin goose guns ,i shot quite a few fox's with it at fair distances ,it was very efective at reducing rabbit numbers as if you had a group of rabbits close together you could take them out with one shot the only downside is it was a bit long and numb to swing about,plus not worth a lot of money

That should be good for you fenbo `large groups of rabbit close to each other` even you shouldnt miss mate?????????????????????????????????????????

I have the Marlin in a 10g.

 

It's like shooting with an old fencepost IMO.

 

You will need to get the removable mag welded in place if you want to use it for it's real purpose....Geese.

 

You will get a certificate to prove that it is limited to 3 shots, this is the same as the semi auto law when 5 shots had to be restricted for anything but vermin.
