Guest digdeep
I know a lot of people spending hundreds of pounds on these "bait boats" but i think half the fun of fishing for big carp is spodding your bait to your chosen area. Bait boats may well be a lot quicker and more accurate but spodding is fun as well as an art. Im not saying i was hitting the marker float straight off but practice makes perfect. Anyway just asking for your oppinion. Do you think they are the crucial tool for carp fishing or not?. Quote Link to post
Guest Ditch_Shitter
There used to be a place underneath the railway arches in Hull. " Deliverance Bait Boats ". Took me a while to work out what the f*ck that was all about as I only ever saw these little remote controlled 'speed boats' in there! (Yeah; Clueless!) Had all the double glazed panals installed and so forth. Only lasted about a year though. Felt quite sorry for the bloke. Never nice to watch a hard worked dream collapsing. But maybe that says something, eh? They're just not popular enough to pay for a dinky little shop front in a backwater location. Saying that; What do I know? Maybe the guy did so well he relocated to Kensington? Just somehow doubt it though. Quote Link to post
oldblueeye 0
I really like them, they're excellent for target practice with the air rifle when the fishings slow. I'd sink as many of the fecking things I could . Seriously though a few of my local waters have banned the use of them due to the amount of complaints from OTHER ANGLERS says it all I think. Cheers OBE. Quote Link to post
