robwelsh 354
Popped to.a club today and had to have my gun chronod and iv always been told its 11.2 at the shops with jsbs, but today it was 11.9 with 8.44 g exact..he reckons I should get the power knocked down on it. But then when tested with airarms field ..8.4 it was 11.6, same head size too. How much roughly would it cost to have it put down? It just seems to be gaining more power all the time, when I first had it it wouldn't budge past 10.6 ,now I'm barely in the legal limit Quote Link to post
Mawders 595
What gun is it? My superten crept over the limit and it cost my £20 to put right plus it had a mini service included for that! Quote Link to post
clubshot 22
Depends on what Gun - If it a Precharged it's Factory Sealed And for Warrenty reasons has to go back to manufactures If a Springer - should not be to expensive - Again if within Warrenty return it to Manufacture As any work invalidates Warrenty - Pellets can make a difference BOB/R Quote Link to post
robwelsh 354
Daystate huntsman classic, I got no factory warranty now. But should it be 11.9 with 8.44 g Quote Link to post
AR177 588
once the rifle has bedded in the power can increase slightly. Each pellet will cause the power to fluctuate so aslong as it dosnt go over 12 with the heaviest or lightlest pellet then its fine and you dont need to worry. For piece of mind you can get it turned down - about a 10min job so shouldnt cost you a great deal ATB Adam Edit: also do you lube the pellets or have you oiled the barrel? this can effect the power Quote Link to post
robwelsh 354
No I don't lube them mate, it was on 10.6 ft lbs with light pellets medium and heavy..after a barrel clean to get the crap out of it that's there when new I put a good few pellets through it and chronod it with jsbs at 11.2 ( bedded in a thought) then had it chronod yesterday on a skan and it was 11.9 with jsbs lol just seems to keep creeping up Quote Link to post
