ste68blue 8
Hi Guys can anyone offer me some help and advice please regarding waterproofing my boots? I have a pair of leather boots (can't remember the make) which are about 12 months old and have suffered a bit of scuffing to the front toe area and consequently now leaking. I would probably say that they are allowing water and damp to seep through the leather resulting in cold wet feet... What does everybody use to waterproof or re-waterproof their boots? Also what is the best way to put some colour back into the scuffed area? What i have tried so far is plenty of dubbing, wax polish and i have just tried applying some bees wax (only did them tonight so haven't been able to try them out yet) I also saw a video on youtube that suggested applying the wax or dubbing liberally then heating with a hair dryer or the like so that the paws of the leather open and draw in the wax into the leather. Any help or advice is much appreciated
