Grasses

As I walk up to the road from here I'm noticing grasses. I've always known there's shit loads more to this stuff than just lawns. But what I'm noticing now is starting to get to me. I'm seeing grass with furry, pinkish seed heads. I'm seeing grass with weird, blue see heads. In fact, I wouldn't mind reckoning I could bring ye good shots of anything up to half a dozen distinctly differant grasses, just by wandering a mile up my track. Each totally differant from the last and all starting to fasinate me.

 

Thing is, it's obviously their season. Then they'll be gone. I'd like to capture and display them, only there'd be little point in that if all we're going to get is responses like; " Nice grass, mate. " Know what I mean? I'd rather prefer and hope for some more constructive commentary. But have we anyone on board who may know enough about the stuff to tell us all a bit about what I might show? Even anyone else just bothered enough to check out what's around them and show us some other grasses?

 

Why not take the time to look a bit more closely at the stuff ye tramp through, day and night. You too may be very pleasently absorbed
